Here's how it works: You tell us which issues matter most to you. Then you rate how well politicians are handling those issues. Over time, you'll see whether the things you care about are actually getting addressed.
The insight: Sometimes we discover a gap—we rate an issue as very important, but give low marks on performance. That gap is worth noticing. It cuts through the noise and shows what's really happening with the issues you care about.
No agenda. Polis doesn't tell you what to think. It just reflects your own priorities back to you—and whether they're being met.
1. How much do you care?
Rate the importance of each issue to you personally. This is about
your values—what matters to you, not what anyone else thinks.
2. How's it going?
Rate how well a politician is handling that issue. Be honest—even
if it's someone you voted for.
When importance is high but performance is low, you've found something worth paying attention to.
